Why can’t I get the Tension Indicator fully green on the Knox SmartSecure System?

We developed the SmartSecure System as a guide to help take the guesswork out of installation and to assist parents and caregivers installing the seat. If the Tension Indicator is not fully green but the user is able to achieve a tight installation (i.e., less than 1” of movement at the belt path left to right and front to back) and the user manual instruction has been followed, then the Knox is ok to use.  For more instructional videos and quick install tips, please visit our Knox YouTube playlist.
