Do you need to use UAS to install the seat?

UAS is used as a great safety and convenience feature as it helps to properly position the car seat in the vehicle and prevents it from becoming a projectile when not in use.

 In cases where UAS is not available, or in some center seat installations where 11” apart dedicated UAS is not possible, we recommend storing the UAS and only using the seat belt.

When not using UAS, it is important to route the seat belt as instructed in our manual and on the product labels, then buckle it to connect it to the vehicle, even when a child is not present to prevent it from becoming a projectile.
